I know who am I to tell you, that you need to be more organized in your life? Well maybe I am not writing this for you. Maybe, I am writing this for me. I NEED THAT REMINDER EVERYDAY!
I need that reminder everyday because, some days I like to be lazy. Lay in bed scroll through my social media, watch a YouTube makeup video (probably re-watch a Nicole Guerriero video.) But yes, I am guilty of getting side tracked like what I just did. As my boyfriend likes to say “your attention span is shorter than a squirrels.”
What works for me that keeps me in track is my calendar.
I love a sleek calendars, with stickers. I have to include that in there.
The way I start my calendar is by writing down what I have to do at a certain time. For example, my classes and work. They start at a certain time and end at a certain time. Then, I like to add things that I need to do, but I need to find a time for them. Like studying, and what I like to call “me time.” The only down side for a cute tangible calendar is that it might get lost in your bag, might be too heavy to carry around, and then you might get discouraged to use it. It’s too much work.
That’s why I love my Google calendar (app.) Its colorful, you can repeat your schedule so you don’t have to re-add it, you can also add the location, when you will like to be reminded etc…
An easy simple calendar can put a little organization in your life/manage your tasks at a timely manner. Just write it down and cross it off, start with that and then continue to add more to your calendar chores, due dates etc…
