The first book I read by Elin Hilderbrand was “The Five Star Weekend,” which was so different from “The Perfect Couple.” And if you have been here for a long time, you know that I like to go in blind and not read what the book is about. I was expecting the romance part but not the murder mystery/whodunit. As the story unfolded, I was drawn into the coastal setting and the intricacies of the characters’ relationships. The blend of mystery and romance kept me eagerly turning the pages, trying to piece together the clues alongside the characters.
