Get to Know Me! Q&A

Hey guys, welcome back to my blog!! I am finally doing the Q&A you guys been wanting for so long. I’ve gotten a lot of the same questions so I’ll sum them up in one. Drum Roll….

Tell us about you and your blog?

I was born in Albania, February 2nd 1998.

I am 21 years old and an aquarius. I am a Finance major following my long list of passions such as makeup, books, design, fashion etc. I started to follow the long list of dreams I decided to dedicate a page/diary to it. I enjoyed doing them, so why not share them with the world.

How did you get into Blogging?

At first I thought it would be my little diary with my little followers/friends. I didn’t think I had to take picture, promote my blogs etc. I didn’t even think of it as a blog. I wanted to sit behind a computer screen and express my opinions and experiences.

What motivates you to keep going?

This might sound corny and for those who know me I am corny. What keeps me going is the future me. That strong, successful women, the vision I have of myself. That’s what motivates me what pushes me to do better, to wake up early and do my makeup/hair and put my best foot forward.

Why did you choose Finance as your major when your passions contradict it?

Money makes the world go around and I am money hungry! I want to travel, not worry about my bills, own luxury cars, a big home and all those come true with money and hard work. I have one of those and that’s hard work and what I need to work for is the money. My passions might contadic it but i’ll rather work for my passions after I have the ease of life. When I’ll be able to relax and enjoy. Oh and I’m good at math that’s why.

Where do you get the products for review on your site?

Every product that I’ve promoted until now I have purchased with my own money.

I enjoy purchasing the products because it gives me a clean slate on how I will rate/enjoy the products. aka I won’t be bias.

I have had a couple of companies reach out to me but I’ve refused to promote their products because they don’t represent me and sometimes they just don’t work.

Who have you met/engaged with because of your blogging journey?

I have had the opportunity to work with CEO’s, authors, poets and brand executives.

I work with Babes for Books” a brand that works with children’s education all over the world and I continue to support and talk to the CEO for more collaboration and expand their brand to the next level.

I’ve engaged with well known authors and I am currently supporting a new author called Eileen Stremming. Her book is called First Generation and it talks about mental health among first generation immigrants.

When do you graduate/plans after college?

I graduate spring 2020 with my bachelor degree! After that I am moving to NYC. I’ll probably be engaged by then so wish me luck and if you live in NYC lets be friends!

What have you learned about you this year?

I’ve learned who I am! That I am an introvert and that I am okay with that. That a quality of friends is better than quantity. I know what makes me happy, what makes me tick.

How did you and Faik make your long distance relationship work?

Effort! That’s what makes a long distance work. He took the effort to come see me, and make it work. He didn’t say “oh 980 miles away, forget about it” he said okay how can we make this work.

He was the one took the initiative to come meet me and he knew that that was on his hand. I couldn’t go see him because of my parents.

Then forget about the long distance communication and knowing what you want is key. I knew what I wanted in a man and of course he lacked in some but that effort make me look twice.

I knew that if he put this initiative to come see me he would take the initiative for a lot more. This showed me that he worked hard to make things work and didn’t give up when things became hard.

We had ups and downs. I had my parents saying “he’ll never move here” and he showed them wrong and forget about knowing someone long distance you get to fully know someone when they’re close.

I saw him once a month flights back and forth but when you see him you have that I missed you feeling that feeling will hinder “getting to know him.” When you’re close you get to know his imperfections and how he hates to do dishes and how he likes his toilet paper to lay etc.

Thank you guys for all the questions I know my last question is a lot but a relationship has so many layers. If you guys want a blog dedicated to just “relationships” let me know and also leave me questions!
