Crepes from Albania

  • 2 cups of water

Thank you to @healthillie for sharing her Albanian recipe with me. Easy recipe that my fiance’s family uses as well.

  • Mix the flour and the egg
  • Add the milk and stir at the same time
  • Add the water slowly while mixing to ensure no flour bubbles
In the Pan
  1. Make sure to have a nonstick pan (if not add non stick spray or a dab of olive oil)
  2. Pour in the pan with a ladle (how much depends on how big you pan is)
  3. Spread until it covers the whole pan
  4. When the crepe starts to fold in on the edges it’s time to flip
  5. When flipping make sure the bottom turns goldish brown to insure that its cooked
  6. Flip it as many times it’s necessary until you achieve the prefered goldness
  7. Take out of the pan and enjoy

I like my Crepes with Nutella and some fruit, my Albanian self like it with feta cheese. Choose your fighter!
