After seeing so many Tiktoks and interviews of Alex Aster, I caved and purchased Lightlark on a bookoutlet spree.

“Lightlark” by Alex Aster is a masterpiece that effortlessly weaves together elements of fantasy, adventure, and mystery.

The world-building relies on the reader’s imagination rather than lengthy descriptions.The characters are well developed, each with their own distinct stories and curses.

The plot is crafted, full of unexpected twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page. The pacing is perfect, never dragging or feeling rushed, allowing the story to unfold organically.

This is the interview that made me cave and purchase Lightlark.
