This book builds up to the climax. Kate is a character that has anxiety regularly so you have that doubt in her and her stories, such as “is she exaggerating?” The book builds up on backstories. Alan’s, Corbins backstory and one more character I do not want to reveal. I give this book a 3.5 out of 5 stars because I wasn’t wowed at the end. The climax would be the story building up but the ending comes out as you’re coming down the hill. I feel that after reading “Behind Her Eyes” the endings to the books I’ve read just disappoint me.
