- Tate Collins
- Miles Archer
When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn’t think it’s love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her:
Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.
They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all. Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.
Colleen Hoover never disappoints. This book will have you feeling all tingly! I had to hide pages from my sitting buddy on the airplane because the book was hot and spicy and I was hot and bothered.
I enjoyed the story line and how the two characters perspective came together. I wouln’t imagine the story line going any other way. Ps. I have no idea how to explain this book besides that, “this book is so good and you have to read it!!!”

So you give it all up. You give it all up. You never want love again, no matter what kind it is, because no type of love will ever be worth living through the ugly love again.― Colleen Hoover, Ugly Love
But the second she opened her eyes and looked at me, I knew. She was either going to be the death of me . . . or she was going to be the one who finally brought me back to life.― Colleen Hoover, Ugly Love
