Publisher’s Summary

Beloved number-one New York Times best-selling author Colleen Hoover returns with an unforgettable love story between a writer and his unexpected muse.

Fallon meets Ben, an aspiring novelist, the day before her scheduled cross-country move. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in LA together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. Over time and amidst the various relationships and tribulations of their own separate lives, they continue to meet on the same date every year. Until one day Fallon becomes unsure if Ben has been telling her the truth or fabricating a perfect reality for the sake of the ultimate plot twist.

Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon – and simultaneously his novel – be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak?

My Review

Rating: 5 out of 5.

Well, well, well here we are with another Colleen Hoover book. Can I just repeat what I said on my last blog, “Colleen Hoover never disappoints” and she has done it again. She had me glued to a book and I couldn’t look up until I finished it.

This storyline is completely different from any that I have read before. Two strangers decide to meet every November until they turn 24 but with no contact until then. What will happen between those years will shock you. Will their long-distance love last the uncertainties between the years?

I would recommend this book and all the books that I have read by Colleen. Just pick and choose which one should be your poison.

“Because when you love someone, you owe it to them to help them be the best version of themselves that they can be. And as much as it crushes me to admit this, the best version of you doesn’t include me.”

“When you’re willing to give up the things that mean the most to you just to see someone else happy, that’s real love.”
